Neiditch & Gellert Limited is a private company that began as a registered partnership of a small workshop  producing boilers, established by Joseph Neiditch and Mordechay Gellert in 1934.

This partnership was located in the southern commercial district of Tel-AVIV, at 9 Ha'shuk Street.

In 1959 Mordachay Gellert was killed in a road accident and his son, Yehuda Gellert, joined the partnership. With Joseph Neiditch's advancing age, and the initiative of Yehuda Gellert, the partnership was changed to a limited company which continued to produce boilers and at the same time began to import and sell non-ferrous metal products especially copper/brass sheets and copper tubes.

In 1975 Joseph Neiditch retired and sold all his shares to the Gellert family, and since that time it has been a private family company according to the definition of the taxation authorities.

Slowly the company reduced the production aspect and devoted greater efforts to the marketing of non-ferrous metals. Since the begining of 1980's the company has dominated the import and marketing of copper tubing in Israel.  The premises in Tel-Aviv became too small, so in 1983 the family purchased a sute in the industrial area of Holon. All business activities were transferred to Holon.

In 1995 the company entered it's new building which was constructed on the site of the old one and has the most advanced equipment for service which exists in Israel. The company has a line of lorries to provide an effective service to the many varied clients throughout the country. In addition many products are now being exported to many countries around the world.

In 1997 the company opened a branch in the capital Jerusalem; the branch is expanding yearly. The company has at the same time undergone a program to establish the highest product standards as well as insuring the highest standard of customer services and is certified by the International Quality Assurance Standard ISO 9001;2000. It is also an approved supplier of the Israeli Defence Ministry.

In the year 2000 Yehuda Gellert retired from the company but continues to operate as the chair man of the board of directors of the company. His son, Mordechay Gellert MA economics and business management Jerusalem University, is now the General Manager.

Yehuda's wife Tamar Gellert, is still responsible for the financial bookeeping. His son-in-law Hannan Tishler is the executive sales manager. His remaining san-in-law William Laird BA, is the executive import and stocks manager.
